Driving Question: How might artists inspire us to represent math through art?

By the end of this unit, students will have produced an original art piece inspired by one of the main mathematical artists. In addition, they will complete a RAFT writing that demonstrates their understanding of their chosen artist and the math showcased with in their art. Artwork will be displayed in VERSO's first Art Gallery. Prints will be available for purchase, and money raised will be used to donate art supplies to a charity.
