Bullying and conflict are not the same, but chances are that at some point in your life, you will experience them both so it's important to know how to handle these situations. Bullying is intentional and done with the goal of causing hurt, harm, or humiliation. With bullying, there is often a power imbalance between those involved. Bullies will often continue their mean behavior towards others even after realizing it is hurtful. Conflict, on the other hand, is a disagreement or argument in which both sides express their views. While sometimes uncomfortable, conflict provides an opportunity for both parties to solve the problem through healthy and positive means. Conflict is inevitable because people don't always agree about everything, all the time, and that's okay, but NO ONE ever deserves to be bullied.
