When utilizing our AMI plan, students will be assessed according to the policies outlined in our student handbook. Daily assignments will be required for each class period and will be recorded as formative grades. Missed Assignments must be completed.

• All students will follow the modified version of their regular daily class schedule.

• Teachers will be taken attendance at the beginning of each hour.

• Students will be available during the school day, following the daily bell schedule shared below.

• Students should sign in to Google Classroom and check the Announcement page for each course between 9:00 am - 1:00 pm on a daily basis to review expectations from teachers.

• Announcements will be labeled by the AMI Day and the Date (Ex: "AMI Day 1 2/23/21")

• Day 1 of the AMI plan will be primarily a review of items previously covered before the missed days due to inclement weather. All subsequent AMI days will be the introduction of new concepts.

• Participation in scheduled live video sessions is required. You may choose not to have your camera on if that makes you more comfortable but you need to be prepared to interact with your teacher if it is requested.

• Parents/Guardians are required to inform the main office if your child will not be participating in live class meetings. Please call 833-402-9580 or email jprivett@veronar7.net prior to 9:00 am.

• It is the responsibility of the student to make up any missed instruction and assignments.

• Log in to live class meetings a minute or two early and do not leave class unless dismissed by the teacher.

• Engage in class following the teacher's instructions and established classroom norms. Failing to behave in an appropriate manner may result in removal from the live session and further disciplinary action from the building administration.

• When attending live class meetings, students should follow the school dress code and participate in an appropriate learning space. (Example: sitting at a table or desk, TV and music turned off, no food or drink, restricting all unnecessary distractions, etc.)

• Students who attend Scott Tech will not attend if Verona R-7 is closed.

• A+ Tutors will receive guidance from Mrs. Arnold via email by 9:00 am.

• Be patient with yourself, your peers, and your teachers!
