RHS Student News is a student-run organization that focuses on bringing both informative and entertaining news for Rockville High School. Episodes run every advisory, which occurs every two weeks.
Scott Cowell is a sophomore, as well as the head anchor/editor of RHS News. Inspired by Mr. Wright's Video Production class (which he highly recommends taking), he joined the news team at the start of the 2024-2025 school year. He put on a grey jacket and hasn't taken it off since. If you see Scott without a jacket, it's probably an impostor.
Madi Maiolo is the oldest current Student News member. She is a member of the Class of 2027, and has been on the news since her Freshman year. Although she started off as a teleprompter worker, she quickly moved up to an anchor, and after the student news remodel, she became an interviewer/reporter. She is also featured as an interviewee in many episodes because she is so involved in the RHS community.
Parker Burrows is a freshman reporter/anchorman at RHS news. He is one of the original members of the news team, and has improved his reporting skills greatly since then. He is most well known for challenging people at their own trade, often to his own defeat.
Sabina Urbanska is a reporter and anchorwoman at RHS news. She has gained a lot of experience in news reporting during her first year on the team, while also becoming a professional when it comes to improvising questions when new opportunities and people show up.
Rayna Croke is an intern at RHS news. She has minimal experience, but wanted to join the team. She appears as an interviewer a few times, but is ace at scrolling the teleprompter for the anchors.
Oskar Kalnenieks is the newest member of RHS news, focusing on behind-the-scenes work such as visual graphics and editing, with a few appearances
