How to Use & Navigate
tHE u.s. WITH VERDE
On this site, you will find many of the resource we will be using this year:
Dates assignments are due and major assessments are found on Schoology and the class calendar. Need-to-Knows and updates will be posted on Schoology. Make sure to check for new information daily.
Here you will find... well, the basics building blocks of the course! Your syllabus, information about the AP exam, instructions on recurring assignments, how your binder should be organized, etc. If you can't seem to find something that's fundamental to the course or the AP exam, check here.
Anything related to helping you learn and understand the content of the course can be found here, as well as the assignments to help you organize this content. This page includes graphic organizers, readings, overview videos, detailed videos, and slide presentations.
skill & Writing Resources
If you've taken any of the other AP social studies courses before, you will be familiar with the type of skills and writing you will be practicing in this course, and ultimately, performing on the APUSH exam. We will be building the skills for each of these types of free response questions for the course of the year.
