Women's History Month offers another opportunity to illuminate the unique histories of women and the  important contributions women have made to our society and to the world.  Whereas  the Library of Congress months and days can be tokenizing, we believe that when taught in conjunction with ongoing and continuous integration of Ethnic and Social Justice Studies and culturally responsive pedagogy, events such as Women's History Month can be used to integrate voices that have been traditionally marginalized and help us create a more safe, loving and just community.  We hope this website  provides valuable resources for students, families and educators to learn more about and celebrate women. Happy Women's History Month!

The goal of this website is to collect and share resources for families, students, and educators in response to our continued efforts to nurture diversity, equity and inclusion in our district and community.  We hope these resources will be helpful in guiding important and difficult conversations about sexism, racism and social inequities, as well as nurturing culturally responsive practices and celebrating women in our society. This site is a living document, and we will strive to continuously update it. El Mes de la Historia de la Mujer se puede utilizar para iluminar las historias únicas de las mujeres y las importantes contribuciones realizadas por las mujeres a nuestra sociedad y al mundo.
