SUMMER 2026 READING
Summer reading should be enjoyable, engaging, and an opportunity to explore books that interest you! Reading during the summer helps maintain and strengthen literacy skills while fostering a lifelong love of learning.
To assist families in selecting appropriate books, our teachers have compiled a list of recommended titles and authors for each grade level. These suggestions are age-appropriate and designed to encourage students to discover new genres, topics, and favorite authors.
There will be no written summer reading assignment required for students. However, students entering Grades 6, 7, and 8 are required to read one book from the designated summer reading list. The selected book will serve as the basis for introductory English Language Arts activities and discussions when students return in the fall.
To learn more about a recommended title or to purchase a copy, simply click on the book title link, which will direct you to Amazon.
We wish all of our students and families a wonderful summer filled with relaxation, adventure, and great books!
