Mobilities and Meetings

These are the seven different locations of our mobilities during the project. Apart from those "mobilities" with students, we will also hold three transnational meetings, the first in Spain, the second one in Portugal, and the third one in Belgium.

Therefore in chronological order these are our meetings and mobilities.

Transnational Meeting in Brussels. June 2019


During these days has taken place the last transnational meeting of coordinators of the project "Citizen 3.0" on digital citizenship in which the school (school) has been immersed in the last two years. The main objective of the project, in addition to promoting the cultural exchange of students and the knowledge of other countries of European culture, was to work on the topic of digital literacy to instill in our young people rules and values ​​that allow them to surf the internet and interact with them. others in a safe way.

The meeting, which took place in the city of Brussels, in Belgium, as the host city of several European institutions such as the European Parliament, has had as its main focus the official presentation of the Digital Literacy Curriculum for Secondary Education, a compendium of 66 Lessons created during the two years that the project lasted, by the students and teachers of the six schools that have participated in the project: Portugal, Spain, France, Latvia, Slovakia and Hungary.

"There are 66 ready-to-use lessons," says Eduardo Ruiz, project coordinator, "working on the six elements of digital citizenship that we have worked on during these 24 months, starting with the definition of the concept of digital literacy, skills to search for information, creation of content and legal aspects such as property and copyright, the world of social networks and how to communicate on the Internet, until reaching the aspects that can cause more problems, such as identity and fingerprint, and of course the risks of the internet.

Mobility to Slovakia. March 2019

Programme

Sastin-Strasse was the town which hosted us for six days in our mobility to Slovakia. After a very well-prepared opening ceremony at school, we were invited to an official reception by the town mayor in the local town-hall.

We had the opportunity to visit Bratislava, the capital city, a beautiful and well-preserved city centre which we strolled in a walking tour.

Two days in the High-Tatras mountain range showed us the most beautiful snowy landscapes we can image!

On the last day before our departure, we spend the morning taking some arts and crafts workshops and visiting the town basilica.

Students Programme / Teachers' Programme

Kőbánya Harmat Junior High School hosted the teachers and students of the 5 partner schools implementing the Erasmus + Citizen 3.0 project as the venue of the 5th International Project Meeting, December 2-8, 2018 in Budapest.

Students made short films and questionnaires about the dangers of the Internet, which were shared during the meeting. On a workshop they had the opportunity to learn the basics of programming and how to use a 3D printer. They could practice film making and editing. At the Lego Education Training Center, both foreign and Hungarian students could design online games, programmed Lego robots, and tested their functionality. Students had rich cultural programs. They visited Buda Castle District, the Hungarian Parliament, Heroes Square, City Park, and the Basilica. Foreign students were warmly welcomed by school students and their families.

The main purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the progress of the project so far and to prepare the current school year's activities and mobilities, arranging organizational aspects, responsible teachers and deadlines.

The agenda of the different meetings we held covered the following issues: To evaluate the previous school-year activities, the progress of the project, to analyse if the roles/responsibilities had been undertaken as arranged in the application form and discussed in

the first transnational meeting in Spain. To prepare 2018/19 school year activities, arranging the organizational aspects such as age group, topics, activity responsibles, submission deadlines, etc. A separate meeting was held in order to organize the second part of the Digital Literacy Curriculum for Secondary Education as we needed to brainstorm topics, and assign them to the different countries. To prepare next calendar of mobilities and the final transnational meeting in Brussels, seat of the European Union, where we will present the Curriculum developed during the two years of the project.

As a result we got all these aspects organized as the main outcome of the transnational meeting which was inserted in a complete programme of academic, cultural and leisure activities organised by the host country.

Students' programme / Teachers' programme


According to the International Project “Citizen 3.0”, the second exchange of students was held in Riga from March 18 th to March 24 th , 2018. The students, who participated in the project, were accompanied by their teachers. They made presentations about their schools and arranged a workshop on how to make posters about the Internet safety. They also visited Zane Zelmen Simulacrum exhibition “The World of Dreams in Virtual Reality” where they experienced the virtual reality. The guests also attended the Digital Competence Centre “Lielvards” where they participated in a workshop and created short films using digital tools.

A tour of Old Riga, a visit to the National Library of Latvia and the Digital Library, Latvian National Museum of Art and The Natural History Museum of Latvia provided an opportunity for the students to get acquainted with the history and culture of Latvia.

The guests visited the film town Cinevilla, the only backlot in Latvia and the only large-scale open-air cinema exhibition in the Baltic countries. At Cinevilla the students took an active part in the process of filming and making special effects.

To learn more about the host school as well as the educational system in Latvia, the students participated in orienteering competition about the school and attended classes together with their host students.

Between the 3rd and the 9th of December, the first exchange of students from the "Citizen 3.0" project was held in Metz. Accompanied by teachers involved in the project, participants visited the premises of the host institution, presented their schools, held a workshop on cyber-bullying and did an E-hunting centered on the discovery of the legend of Metz. Visiting students also received an official reception at the town hall, visited the European Parliament in Strasbourg, and a coal mining site in Petite-Rosselle.

Transnational Meeting in Spain. October 2017.

This was the teachers' first meeting after a year collaborating online to create the project. We met in San Fernando, the coordinator host town, and we held three different meetings along the three days to discuss the project roles and responsibilities, the core activities for the first year and our final product: the Curriculum of Digital Literacy. Apart from the meetings we got to know San Fernando, but also the capital city of the province, Cádiz, as well as the neighbouring town of El Puerto de Santa María.
