Keep the number of tabs open to only those necessary
Update the OS (video) or Settings > About Google Chrome > Check for Updates
Check network speeds using a speed test tool
Restart the device
Clear browsing data (video) or CNTL + H
Task manager to see CPU usage (video) or Shift + ESC

Settings > Offline > Enable offline mail
Compose and reply to emails while offline. All changes will be saved locally on the Chromebook. Emails will be sent when again connected to the Internet.
