pre-production
In order to plan our narrative for pre-production, we had to visually explore ideas using sketches and a moodboard.
production
We were instructed to take high-quality pictures of your hand that highlight a story while taking into account the shot size, camera angle, lighting, and color scheme. We had to play with mark-making and stencils to make your own henna pattern.
post-production
For POST-PRODUCTION, we were instructed to edit our photos in Adobe Lightroom and export them as high-resolution.jpg files. A portrait of our hand with a custom henna design was the project's result.
Final image
I used two distinct types of materials in the finished image that appear strong when certain lighting is applied to them.
I used a holographic acrylic sheet to create the blue light and my phone to add the sources of light.
