We first learned and practiced how to draw 1 point and 2 point perspectives in preparation for the Night scene assignment.

We then went to the mall to click picture as different angels so that perspectives are made.

Later, the professor instructed us to take pictures of storefronts or other locations that symbolize Qatari culture.

For practice, we started by drawing balloons and experimenting with the colors on black sheet

I initially began my drawing with the image from woqod. It was amazing at first, then it became challenging to draw the details. I found it difficult to concentrate on drawing the fine details because the photo was taken from a great distance. Due to this, I chose another picture.

Professor gave his approval for me to change the image and redo the project. My drawing allowed me to track my development better than the woqod could. I adored how seamlessly and delicately everything blended.

Final drawing

Despite the fact that this project took a lot of time, I learned a lot. I discovered how crucial a base of white is when working with wax pencils, how practice makes work better, and how patience is the key to a beautiful artwork.
