Title: Neural Signal Analysis and Decoding for Brain-Computer Interfaces

Abstract. A Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) is a system that interprets direct measurements of an individual's brain activity to produce an actionable output. BCIs and related technologies can be used in assistive, rehabilitative, augmentative, diagnostic, or therapeutic applications. This seminar will provide an overview of common neural signal analysis and decoding techniques for BCI applications, including intracranial speech decoding and synthesis.
