All LHS and CMS students now have a working email account to communicate with VCSC staff. The descriptions below will walk you through how to access or setup your account on different devices.
Student Account Information
Students will login with "student username"@vcsc.k12.in.us and your password will be your student ID number.
Students will no longer use the @student.vcsc.k12.in.us account.
The first time you sign into your email it will ask you to set your time zone, we are on Eastern Standard Time (EST).
If your email account or password doesn't work please contact your teacher through Google Classroom or contact the VCSC Help line (information is below)and they will contact IT to get it fixed.
Click on the "VCSC Bookmarks" in the top left of the Chrome browser.
Click on the "Email" bookmark.
Log into your email account.
THIS IS NOT YOUR GMAIL ACCOUNT. Gmail is disabled for the VCSC.
Adding Email to iPhone
Open "Settings".
Open "Accounts & Passwords".
Click on " Add Account".
Choose to add an "Exchange" account.
Type in your full email account where it asks and as for description whatever you enter here will be the name that shows up for this email account.
Remember it will be @vcsc.k12.in.us NOT @student.vcsc.k12.in.us
After you click on "Next" it will ask if you want to "Configure Manually" or "Sign In" you will want to choose "Sign In".
By clicking on "Sign In" you should see the Alices logo next to your email account and it will ask you to enter your password. This password will be your blue screen password. Click on "Sign In" after you enter your password.
It will then ask you to accept the permissions for your email account to work correctly. Click on "Accept"
After verifying everything it will ask you what apps you want to sync with your email. DO NOT sync your CONTACTS to your email. The others (Mail, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes) are fine to sync because they can be used by you and your teachers.
After you turn off Contacts click on "Save" on the top right and your email should be added to your phone.
Adding Email to Android Phone
Open "Settings.
Open "Accounts".
Click on "Add Account".
Choose to add an "Exchange" Account.
Type in your full email account where it asks

It will then ask you to enter your password. This password will be your blue screen password.
It should then take you to your "Incoming Server Settings". Please double check that the server listed says "outlook.office365.com". If that is correct click on "Next".
It will then load and sync your settings and you will be finished.
In some cases it will ask you to log in again. After logging in again you should be fine.
