Roles and Duties:
*Provide strategic direction and oversight for the ELEVATE initiative
*Ensure alignment of district and school goals with the instructional model
*Facilitate communication and collaboration across various stakeholders
*Monitor and evaluate the progress of the initiative and make necessary adjustments
ELEVATE Coaches
Who: Principals, Assistant Principals, & Teacher Development Specialists
Roles and Duties:
*Lead the implementation of the ELEVATE initiative and instructional model at their respective schools
*Provide instructional coaching and conduct professional development sessions as needed
*Support and mentor teachers in adopting modern teaching practices
*Serve as liaisons between the Steering Committee and classroom teachers
ELEVATE Legacy
Who: Master Teachers at each school
Roles and Duties:
*Act as an early adopter by completing the Modern Teacher modules ahead of other educators to serve as a model and support in implementing best practices in their classrooms
*Share their experiences and strategies with other teachers
*Provide support and guidance to peers in adopting new instructional methods
*Participate in and facilitate professional learning communities as needed
Who: All VCS Teachers
Roles and Duties:
*Engage in asynchronous professional learning through the Modern Teacher platform
*Apply new instructional strategies and techniques in their classrooms
*Collaborate with ELEVATE Coaches and Legacy Teachers to improve instructional practices
*Focus on delivering personalized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
GOAL: All VCS Students will receive quality personalized instruction by highly-trained instructors in modern learning environments
Roles and Duties:
*Participate actively in personalized learning experiences
*Utilize modern learning environments to enhance their educational outcomes
*Provide input on their class codes and other learning experiences to help refine instructional practices
