¡Hola mi nombre es Guadalupe Lopez, estoy muy entusiasmada de empezar mi 4to año en a Escuela Lilac! Me gradué de la Universidad de San Marcos en donde recibí mi Licenciatura en Pedagogía y Linguistica. Valoro el tiempo con mi familia. Estoy felizmente casada. Tengo tres hijos barones de 7 (Panchito), 11 (Alex) y 12 (Giovanni). Otro miembro de mi familia es Rosita nuestra perrita de 1 año. Nos gusta ver películas y jugar fútbol. En las vacaciones nos vamos a México a cascariar con los niños del rancho. A mi me gusta ir a ver museos y aprender de la historia de los lugares. Durante mi tiempo libre me gusta leer, jugar fútbol, bailar zumba y visitar a mis amistades. También me gusta tomar tiempo para ir a visitar a mi abuelito en México.

Mi filosofía de educación es que todos los niños son únicos y tienen algo especial que pueden aportar a su educación. Apoyaré a mis alumnos para que se expresen y se acepten por lo que son, así como para aceptar las diferencias de los demás. Construir una comunidad dentro del salón de clases es mi objetivo. Usaré estrategias para asegurar que nuestra comunidad en el salón de clases florezca, como la reunión de la mañana, disciplina positiva versus negativa, trabajos en el salón de clases y habilidades para resolver problemas. Proporcionaré un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro donde los estudiantes estén invitados a compartir sus ideas y tomar riesgos. Celebraré la singularidad mediante la introducción de un plan de estudios que integrará diferentes estilos de aprendizaje y hará que el contenido sea relevante para la vida de los estudiantes. Incorporaré aprendizaje práctico, aprendizaje cooperativo, proyectos, temas y trabajo individual que involucre y active el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.

Predigo un increíble año escolar 2022-23. USTED ESTÁ INVITADO a ayudar en el salón de clases. ¡Esta es una excelente manera para que las familias vean lo que los estudiantes están aprendiendo y también es una gran ayuda para mí! Si no pueden visitar el salón de clases, no se preocupe. Encontraremos otras formas de mantenernos conectados porque una de mis metas más importantes este año es mantener abiertas las líneas de comunicación con ustedes. Estoy disponible de lunes a viernes para hablar usted de 8:00 a.m. a 8:30 a.m. y de 3:20 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. y con cita previa. No dude en ponerse en contacto conmigo si tiene alguna pregunta o inquietud durante el año.

Hello my name is Guadalupe Lopez, I am very excited to start my fourth year at Lilac School!. I graduated from the California State University of San Marcos, earning my teaching credential and Minor in Linguistics. I value time with my family. I am happily married. I have three sons aged 7 (Panchito), 11 (Alex), and 12 (Giovanni). Another member of my family is Rosita, our 1-year-old dog. We like to watch movies and play soccer. During the holidays we go to Mexico to scrimmage with the children from the ranch. I like to go to museums and learn about the history of places. During my free time, I like to read, play soccer, dance Zumba and visit my friends. I also like to take time to visit my grandpa in Mexico.

My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and have something special they can bring to their education. I will support my students to express and accept themselves for who they are, as well as to embrace the differences of others. Building community within the classroom is my goal. I will use strategies to ensure our classroom community will flourish, like the morning meeting, positive vs. negative discipline, classroom jobs, and problem-solving skills. I will provide a safe learning environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks. I will celebrate uniqueness by introducing a curriculum that will integrate different learning styles, as well as make the content relevant to the student's lives. I will incorporate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, themes, and individual work that engage and activate students learning.

I predict an amazing 2022-23 school year. YOU ARE INVITED to help in the classroom. This is a great way for families to see what the students are learning and is also a big help for me! If you cannot make it to the classroom do not worry. We will find other ways to stay connected because one of my most important goals this year is to keep the lines of communication open with you. I am available every day to talk with you between 8:00 a.m.- 8:30 a.m. and between 3:20 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. and by appointment.
