*Reading interventions, including designated English Language Development, will take place in small groups during PE.

Music and art will be taught weekly by Mr. Wylie and monthly by Mrs. Williams, respectively.

In addition to regular daily classwork, students will have certain assignments designed to reinforce what we've learned together while also teaching them about personal responsibility.

Students will be asked to complete a weekly reading log at home that will be collected in class every Friday. Spelling words will also be assigned, with test given on Fridays.

Additional math practice sheets will be provided upon parent request.

Students may also be assigned various project-based learning activities, such as book, biography, and/or a state reports. Details, including deadlines, will be shared with parents when assigned.

Appropriate accommodations will always be made for students subject to Individualized Education Plans, in collaboration with their assigned Special Education teacher.
