Welcome Back to School!
Dear Families,
Welcome to room 18! I hope you all had a fun and relaxing summer! I am very excited to be your child’s 5th grade teacher! This will be a great year of learning, their last at Valley Center Elementary.
I wanted to give you a little background information about myself. My wife’s name is Erin and I have two girls Olivia and Charlotte. I grew up in San Diego and attended UC San Diego where I received my Bachelor’s degree. I later attended the University of San Diego where I received my Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree. I am a very enthusiastic and energetic teacher.
Back to School Night will be a great opportunity for us to get together and talk about what the year ahead holds for your child. There will be more information as the day comes closer.
Having open communication is extremely important to me and important in making sure your child has a successful year, both academically and socially. If you ever have questions or anything comes up, please don’t hesitate to call or email. Thank you in advance for your support, I’m looking forward to an awesome year! Please see the syllabus/handbook for our class on the first day.
Sincerely,
Spencer Brown
