Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Lyndsey Morningstar. I have been a kindergarten teacher for my whole teaching career and I absolutely love it. I am a local to Valley Center. I started school here at the Primary school in first grade and went all the way through our school system. I graduated from VCHS and went on to Palomar and Cal State San Marcos. I graduated from CSUSM in 2013 with my teaching credential and started my career at Bonsall West. After 9 great years in Bonsall, I finally came home to VC and am so excited to be teaching in my home community. I am also a huge Disney fan, if you can't tell from my pictures.

Kindergarten is my favorite grade! Watching these kids grow both physically and academically over the year is so special. My goal every year is to create and environment that allows students to love school and love learning. When students love school, learning comes easily. I create this environment by incorporating hands-on activities with meaningful discussions with lots of fun sprinkled in.

I look forward to a magical school year filled with my Mouseketeers!
