Welcome to 1st grade!  

I'm so glad you're here!

I love 1st grade and I hope you will too!  This year, we will strive to become better readers, learners, and workers.  We will also work on being independent.

My goal for all students is to make learning engaging, challenging and fun!  We will work towards being creative thinkers and confident students because, after all, "We are the BEES! That means we give our Best Effort Every Single day!"

Here's a little bit about me.  I have been teaching 1st grade for 17 out of my 21 years of teaching.  My husband is also a teacher-but he teaches scary high school students at Rancho Buena Vista High School.  I am also a mom to a 15 year old daughter and a 13 year old son.  I LOVE reading, coffee, rainbows, and Target (much to my husband's dismay).
