Welcome to 8th grade Bilingual Language Arts and Social Studies-your students are in for an adventure this year and I invite you to come along for the ride! I’ve taught a variety of grade levels, subject areas, second language acquisition classes, dual language programs, intervention projects, advanced learners, parent education, and teacher training. In my time away from school, I enjoy spending time with my familia, traveling with my familia and also traveling with other teachers to learn more about the world we live in! These are pictures of me and the places I have been ! This will mark my 18Th year teaching at the Valley Center Middle School and my 35th year teaching at VCPUSD!
I love to visit as many places as I can. Traveling helps me learn more about the world we live in.
My garden is where I like to be when I am not teaching, reading or traveling! My favorite is going to Lowe's on Friday nights and rescuing plants. I bring them home and bring them back to life!
Mi Familia is the most important to me. I love them very much and we spend as much time as possible .
Taco is such a character he barks at every noise and everyone, but I love him very much!
Bernard is the only grand child I have he belongs to my hija and all I can say is he is a very loved (spoiled) gato.
My Pops taught me the importance of being there for my community in Valley Center I helped at the Halloween Carnival for 20 years straight! I love being a rotarian and helping people throughout North County. I also enjoy being a judge for the International Latino Book Awards and for the Jose Marti awards.
