Happy 2026! We hope your families enjoyed a restful and fun-filled break from school, and we are excited to see you all back as we kick off this new semester!
On Monday, students will report to their first semester classes to review exams and close out the semester. On Tuesday, schedules will change to second semester classes, which will be posted again in PlusPortals E-Locker on Monday.
Report cards will be posted Friday.
Please do a uniform policy self-check before returning from the break.
In Christ,
Dr. LeBoeuf
We invite you to join us for upcoming January school masses at 9:18 a.m. in the Kolb:

☐ [repeat] Scheduling for the 2026-2027 school year will begin in January 2026 after Christmas break. Parents will need to access their Parent plus portals account to complete scheduling forms with their student. If you do not have an active parent plus portals account, please email wgabriel@htdiocese.org to activate it.
As we celebrate the beginning of another blessed year, we are grateful for the families and friends whose generosity and support continue to strengthen Vandebilt Catholic and its mission. Earlier this week we mailed letters with information on the Vandebilt Catholic Annual Fund. If you are considering a year-end gift, we hope you will keep Vandebilt Catholic in mind. Online donations can be made here.
On Monday, students will report to their first semester classes to review exams and close out the semester. On Tuesday, schedules will change to second semester classes, which will be posted again in PlusPortals E-Locker on Monday.
Report cards will be posted on Friday afternoon. The will be accessible in the E-Locker --> E-Portfolio area in PlusPortals. Please review these with your child(ren) as the students begin setting academic goals for the second semester. Remember that the 1st semester grade is an average of the percentages of the 2 quarters.
Please conduct an assessment of each student's grooming and uniform to ensure they are within the uniform policy as they return to school after this break. The policy begins on page 49 of the Student Handbook.
During the spring semester, we have five 50-minute test prep sessions that will take place at 9:30. Students will work with content area teachers on test-taking strategies as well as content material to prepare for standardized tests like the PreACT and ACT. All grade levels will participate in these targeted lessons. Seniors will sessions with our senior counselor and Nicholls State University reps about important college prep topics. Please avoid scheduling appointments during these sessions so all students can benefit from this new program. The dates are as follows:
Thursday 1/15/26
Thursday 2/5/26
Monday 2/23/26
Thursday 3/26/26
Monday 4/13/26
In morning or afternoon carline, please do NOT block the driveways of neighboring businesses. Thank you for your cooperation in this!
