[repeat] Vandebilt is excited to launch the first Career Exploration Day on December 5, 2025. This event will offer Juniors and Seniors a unique opportunity to engage in real-world learning while spending a day at a host business or facility. Through hands-on experiences and direct interaction with professionals, students will gain valuable insight into potential career paths. Local businesses, professional practices, and non-profit organizations in the Houma area are invited to serve as host sites. If you are interested in partnering with us to be a host site for this event, please reach out to Katie Champagne at kchampagne@htdiocese.org for more information.
[repeat] PSAT Information: All students registered for the PSAT 8/9 and PSAT received important information in their honors math class the week before exams. Any 8th-11th grade students who are only enrolled in English honors classes received an email last week with instructions to attend a meeting with Mrs. Jenna. Any students who have not met with a counselor to complete the PSAT exam set up should report to the Counseling Center at the beginning of their lunch period on Monday, October 13th. This is important in order for the student to gain access to a free full length practice test. All 8th and 9th grade students scheduled to take the PSAT 8/9 will take it on October 22, 2025. All 10th and 11th grade students scheduled to take the PSAT will take it on October 29, 2025.
[repeat] Student of the Year: The Louisiana Catholic Schools Students of the Year Awards Program recognizes outstanding students throughout the state in the areas of discipleship, leadership, service, citizenship, and academic achievement. The nomination window will begin on Monday, October 20, 2025. Please review the linked guidelines for the 8th grade selection process and 12th grade selection process. These documents are also available to review in the Counselor Connection section and in the students’ Counseling Center Google Classrooms.
[repeat] Please reach out to your student's assigned counselor with any questions or concerns via phone, email, or using the Counselor Request Form.
Daily Announcements will be posted here each day.
