This month we celebrate the birthday of Father August Vandebilt, whose name our school proudly bears. Father Vandebilt’s unwavering faith, compassion, and commitment to serving others reflect the very heart of our mission at Vandebilt Catholic. His life reminds us that our school stands on a legacy of faith-filled leadership and deep dedication to forming young people in both heart and mind. As we honor his legacy, we invite you to join us in continuing his vision by making a gift to the VANDEBILT CATHOLIC ANNUAL FUND HERE.
In Christ,
Dr. LeBoeuf

College Application Updates
The Class of 2026 has submitted over 300 college applications and has reported almost 100 college acceptance notifications! Please remind your student to complete the College Acceptance Form and Scholarship Reporting Form. These forms are both available in the student’s Counseling Center google classroom. Encourage your student to review the scholarship folder available in the google classroom often. Available scholarships are compiled in this folder and sorted by due date.
FAFSA
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be completed to receive TOPS awards and any other applicable financial aid. Many universities use this information to prepare financial aid applications. Make sure you are using the correct website linked here. You should never pay to complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA Completion Guide is a great tool to help you complete the FAFSA. If you have questions regarding the FAFSA, you can schedule a virtual meeting with a LELA representative using this link.
Student Hub UPDATE
Many parents and students have reported issues creating a Student Hub account. The LOSFA representative has reported continued technical issues with the site. They have created a work around to assist families with setting up this account. This week, the representative will provide a LOSFA ID for students to use to set up the account in place of the LASECID which is where the error is occurring. The LOSFA ID is generated when the FAFSA is completed. Any students/parents who have completed the FAFSA will receive an email from me with a LOSFA ID number which should allow you to create the Student Hub account. As a reminder, the Student Hub account allows you to view your student’s TOPS award after graduation. Registering now can help identify any errors that need to be fixed. You will be able to view the current information on file.
Please continue to review the Senior Parent Checklist for resources.
[repeat] Please reach out to your student's assigned counselor with any questions or concerns via phone, email, or using the Counselor Request Form.
Daily Announcements will be posted here each day.
