3rd Quarter Interim Reports were posted to students' E-Lockers on PlusPortals on Wed. 2/4. Please review grades and goals for the quarter, and SOAR students have tasks to prepare for exam scheduling and renewal for 26-27.
Athletic updates/reminders regarding advertisement opportunities, baseball and softball season passes, and cashless options are included below.

☐ Attention Parents of Resource Students:
SOAR Renewals were due on Friday. If you have not turned in your students' renewal paperwork, please do so as soon as possible.
SOAR exam planners were sent to students last week. They are due by Wednesday, 2/11.
☐ 2026-2027 ONLINE REGISTRATION (Please Read Carefully) Letters were emailed on Friday with instructions for 26-27 Registration, which will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 3. All student registrations will be completed online.
Returning Students: You will now access and submit your student’s registration form through your PlusPortals account starting Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Please verify all information on the form for accuracy. Be sure to click “submit” at the bottom of the form. You will receive confirmation once submitted.
New Students: Registration forms will be emailed to families on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Please click on the link “2026-2027 Registration Form” and review all attachments sent with the email. Be sure to click “submit” at the bottom of the form. You will receive confirmation once submitted.
💜💚💛 On Friday, students may wear purple, green, and/or gold jeans and a Mardi Gras shirt. All attire must be appropriate for school including any lettering and designs. No shorts, no joggers, no sweat pants, no track pants, and no leggings. Shoes/boots must cover the entire foot. Students may also wear any part of their uniform or blue jeans and a VCHS Spirit Shirt.
Mothers Club will be selling king cake slices for $1 after Mass in the quad on Tuesday, February 10. Prizes will also up for grabs if you find the hidden baby in your slice!

Draw Request Forms (tuition loan renewals) for the 2026-27 school year were emailed this past week. If you did not receive your tuition loan renewal form, please email Lori Liner at lori.liner@htdiocese.org.

🥎⚾ 2026 baseball and softball season passes are also available on i2TICKETS. Also, cashless options will be available at spring sporting events.
Only a few weeks left to NOMINATE A LEGEND for this year's Hall of Fame and Alumni of the Year! Be sure to get your nominations in by Feb. 27.

Attention all juniors and sophomores who reside in SLECA's electric lines: please check your counseling center Google Classroom for an opportunity to win a trip to Washington D.C. this summer!
ACT payment is past due. All 10th and 11th grade students will take the District ACT on April 21, 2026. Seniors also have the opportunity to take the ACT at school on this date. The cost of the test is $39.75. Students should bring cash or checks made payable to VCHS to the Counseling Center on Monday, February 9th. Students do not need to register for this test.
Attention Senior Parents:
Several scholarships are posted in the Class of 2026 google classroom. Please encourage your student to review the opportunities and apply. Some of the opportunities include:
Scholarships for students of active or reserve Coast Guard members
Girls on the Run coaches
Education majors
STEM majors
Students who have SLECA services at their home
