The Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation scholarship program is now accepting applications. Our foundation offers 86 different scholarships to students in the communities served by Colonial Farm Credit in Eastern Virginia and Maryland. Scholarship amounts range from $2,000 to $6,500. While each scholarship has its own criteria, students only need to complete one application, which automatically matches them to the scholarships for which they qualify.
We encourage you to share this opportunity with your high school seniors.

A few highlights:
💰 Application Fee-Free! Chowan is committed to removing barriers for students — now is the perfect time to apply. Our online application is completely free! Apply at admissions.chowan.edu or through the main university website at chowan.edu.
🎓Special Event – October 27 at 2:00 PM: Chowan will welcome back alumnus Richard Whitted (Class of 2018), a member of the U.S. Secret Service, to speak on campus. Criminal Justice–interested students are invited to attend!
🎃 HarvestFest – October 30th: Open to the public! This is a fun and safe trick-or-treating event for local kids. Please share with any faculty or staff who might want to bring their family to campus. Check out our social media for details on the start time and location!
🧾 FAFSA is open! Our Financial Aid team will be hosting FAFSA workshops throughout the fall to help students and families maximize their financial opportunities.
If we have not had a enrollment team member in your school yet this semester, please let us know and we will schedule with you ASAP!
