^{S.O.S! You helped us raise over 3,000 cans for local food pantries! Participating teachers and staff members decorated boxes to pretend they were on Survivor Island. There were twenty- three boxes and thirty-six teachers and staff members. You had to bring in canned food or food that is not refrigerated each day for a week. Each day, the teachers and staff members that had the least amount of food in their boxes got kicked off the island. Out of all 36 teachers and staff members who participated, the winner ended up to be Mr. Schmidt. His trophy was a golden coconut. Great job! We had lots of fun while supporting a great cause!}
