Rising Kindergarten through 6th grade students will engage in learning new skills for each of the four gymnastics events. They will work on balance, strength, endurance, and flexibility. Students should bring a non-perishable snack and a bag lunch daily. After lunch, we will engage in arts and crafts, activities, and collaborative games, and showcase prep. Students should bring a small backpack/ cinch bag and wear a leotard or tight-fitting athletic clothes.
Our showcase will be held on Thursday, June 18th

This camp is designed to introduce campers to the game of lacrosse and all aspects of it. This will include passing, catching, shooting, cradling and ground balls. It is for anyone interested in the sport regardless of experience. Students will be taught by the head coach of Kempsville Boys' Lacrosse, Assistant Coaches and current players. Campers are encouraged to wear athletic wear, sneakers and bring plenty of water. Be weary that it may be sunny, and sunscreen should be applied. Sticks will be provided.
Boys Lacrosse camp is open to rising 6th-9th graders.

Baseball camp is designed to focus on and provide instruction of the basic fundamentals of the game of baseball. Character development will be stressed throughout the week and players will be challenged to compete with integrity. Players will rotate through different stations where they will participate in a variety of group and individual drills designed to improve their skills and over all approach to the game. Each day those skills will be brought together through simulated games, live situations, and one on one reviews of those situations.
Baseball camp is open to rising 1st graders through rising 8th graders.
Players should wear athletic clothes. They should bring a baseball glove, bat (if they have one) and helmet. Athletic shoes or cleats are needed. Players should bring a water bottle with them daily. Players need to bring a snack and lunch.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of field hockey, the importance of being a team player, and a basic guide to becoming a resourceful human in society. Field Hockey Camp is open to campers ages 7-14.
A water bottle, mouth guard, shin guards, and tennis shoes will be needed. Cleats may be worn on the field - but tennis shoes will need to be packed in the event of us having to be in the gym due to weather. If you do not own a field hockey stick, one can be provided for you.

Get ready for a creative and action-packed skill building experience this summer at Art & eSports Camp. This camp is designed for rising 3rd through 8th graders. This camp experience blends the worlds of Art and eSports offering 50/50 balance of gaming and creating art.
Camp Highlights:
eSports: Friendly competitions that build skill, strategy, and teamwork. Games may include Super Smash Bros., Chess, Tetris, and Mario Kart (plus more!)

Join KHS Cheer for a week of fun! Whether your camper is new to cheer or is looking to improve their skills, this camp is for them! Campers will get to learn and improve their cheer skills. We will stunt, jump, and tumble! Campers will also get to learn cheers and a dance. On the final day of camp, families will be invited to come cheer on their campers as they showcase all their hard work at 12pm!
Campers should bring water. a morning snack, and or afternoon snack / lunch to camp each day. We ask that all campers are in athletic attire with their hair pulled back.
Cheer camp is open to rising Kindergarten through 8th graders.

The Kempsville High School Youth Basketball Camp is a great opportunity for players to learn fundamental skills, have fun, and get to know the coaching staff. Throughout the week, campers will work on shooting, ball handling, defensive techniques and more. It’s a positive way to stay active, build friendships, and enjoy a week of basketball!
Players must wear athletic clothes and proper gym shoes. They should also bring a water bottle with them daily.

The Maker Camp is a summer camp program for rising 3rd-8th grade students featuring highly engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Your child will learn about entrepreneurship through a focus on crafting, technology, and maker activities. Students will be working in our makerspace and can enjoy sessions on topics such as 3D printing, electronics, design, and more.
