The books will be announced October 1st. The competition is open to all fifth graders!!
The Battle of the Books is a game show style reading competition that the Virginia Beach Public Library hosts that takes places in February and March. Fifth graders are encouraged to create teams of five to answer questions based upon a preselected list of books. Winning teams from each preliminary event will advance to the Semi-Finals and then the Grand Finale.
Information will be coming home in the fall about the competition.
