Computer Science Education Week is December 9-15, 2019.

We will celebrate the international Hour of Code during the entire month of December. IMS Eagles code all year long. We code in electives. We code in STEM related clubs. We code for special occasions or just for fun! Eagles code!

We challenge all Eagle families to do their own Hour of Code.

Start by watching one of the "Anyone Can Code" videos found below.
Find something for every member of the family from primary students to grandparents on Hour of Code Learn. Click on the image to the right.
Explore other choices on other pages of this Eagles Code Google Site.
Host a Coding Smack-down. Friends and family show their best coding and vote for the best coder. Everyone will be a winner!
Celebrate! Post a picture of your family and friending coding on Twitter with #eaglescode #HOC. If you are earning the coding badges in the coding course, post your picture there with how many lines of code your wrote.

Earn Schoology Badges While You Code

Start by joining the Hour of Code Challenge course. The join code is running on the scrolling announcements, or come to the library media center to join.

Then complete the requirements of the badges. Do one, two, or all three to earn a master coding badge.

Choice Board Challenge: The board is found inside the HOC Challenge course.
Sphero/Ozobot Challenge: Participate in one of the three study hall coding days. Sign up in the LMC. Space is limited!
Family & Friends HOC Badge: Plan and execute a family hour of code. Show us how many lines of code each family member wrote.
Master Coder Badge if you do all three above.
