On Monday, our Year 5 and Year 6 students had an unforgettable experience at Chelsea FC’s world-class training ground in Cobham! The day was packed with excitement as the children met Carly Telford, former England and Chelsea goalkeeper, who inspired everyone with stories from her incredible career.
Students took part in a variety of drills designed to improve their football skills, teamwork, and fitness, giving them a taste of what it takes to train like an elite player. From perfecting their passing to testing their agility, the activities brought energy, fun, and new challenges to every participant.
The visit was a unique opportunity to step into the world of professional football, and the students came away inspired, motivated, and maybe even dreaming of future stardom on the pitch!
In Design and Technology, Year 4 have been learning about mechanical systems and then have begun building their own. They have been building a slingshot car and have begun by creating the chassis and designing the body of their car. Next, the children will be assembling their vehicles and testing this out. Year 4 are looking forward to assembling their vehicles and testing these out!
Year 5 and 6 had an exciting visit from The Riot Act, who delivered their engaging road safety production, ‘The Incident at Station Road.’
Through an interactive and thought-provoking performance, students were encouraged to think critically about road safety and the impact of their choices as pedestrians, cyclists, and passengers. The session was both entertaining and educational, leaving our students with important lessons they can apply in their daily lives.
Our students have been learning about the Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals), inspiring discussions about building a better future. Year 3 has worked hard to create beautiful posters showcasing their understanding and ideas.
These posters are now part of a wonderful display in school. Please do talk with your children about the SDGs at home—it's a great way to deepen their understanding and inspire further conversations about creating a better world.
Bring the whole family to our Winter Market for an evening of festive fun! Enjoy a variety of stalls, food, music, and activities for everyone.
There’s still time to contribute to your child’s class stall or to donate food for the event. If you’d like to help out, please get in touch with your child’s teacher or the school office.
We can’t wait to see you there!
Lambeth Council is launching a Healthy Neighbourhood project in the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and Walnut Tree Walk areas.
A Healthy Neighbourhood is designed to be a safe and inviting space, with reduced motor traffic and vehicles traveling at safe speeds. It includes not only traffic measures but also enhancements to make the area more pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly.

The 'WakeUpWednesday' guides empower and equip parents, carers and educators with the confidence and practical skills to be able to have informed and age-appropriate conversations with children about online safety, mental health and well-being, and climate change.
Each week we will post a relevant guide to support our school community's knowledge and understanding of how to keep safe online and new things to be aware of.
This week is a online safety focus on 'Snapchat'. Please click on the PDF to enlarge it.
A huge congratulations to the pupils who earned the Rights Respecting Award this week! Your dedication to respecting and upholding everyone's rights truly shines. Keep up the fantastic work.
