HG Construction visited our school to share insights about their work and, most importantly, to emphasise the importance of safety. The highlight of the visit was when their mascot, Harry, made a special appearance, much to the delight of the children. The assembly became truly interactive as the children participated by dressing up in safety gear, making the session both educational and fun!
Huge congratulations to our amazing Year 3 pupils for delivering an unforgettable performance during the Diwali assembly! Their energy, talent, and dedication lit up the stage and beautifully captured the essence of the occasion, leaving the audience in awe.
A big thank you to everyone who supported behind the scenes—you made this celebration truly special. Well done, Year 3!
This week, we participated in Road Safety Week, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting awareness and understanding of road safety. It was a fantastic opportunity for children to learn essential skills to keep themselves safe on and around roads.
Throughout the week, pupils engaged in a variety of activities, including: An assembly highlighting the importance of road safety and how everyone can play a part in keeping our roads safer, classroom activities and discussions focusing on road safety rules and responsibilities.
In addition, our Year 3 children participated in pedestrian training, equipping them with practical skills to navigate roads safely under adult supervision.
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and dedication our pupils showed in embracing these vital lessons. We encourage you to discuss road safety further at home to reinforce these important messages.
On Wednesday, all pupils joined the World Children’s Day 2024 Live Session, celebrating this global day dedicated to promoting children’s rights and well-being.
This year’s theme, “Be a Changemaker”, encouraged them to explore how they can create positive change in their communities and beyond.
Let’s support their journey to make the world a better place!
This week, The Wellbeing Ambassadors celebrated World Kindness Day by supporting children in the playground to create Kindness Creatures. Lots of children participated following the careful instructions given by the ambassadors to create individual characters. They finished by adding some messages of kindness.
We’re delighted to announce that our school has been awarded the TfL - Travel for Life Gold Accreditation!

The 'WakeUpWednesday' guides empower and equip parents, carers and educators with the confidence and practical skills to be able to have informed and age-appropriate conversations with children about online safety, mental health and well-being, and climate change.
Each week we will post a relevant guide to support our school community's knowledge and understanding of how to keep safe online and new things to be aware of.

If your child needs to miss school for any reason, we kindly ask that you provide supporting evidence for the absence. For illness, if your child is off sick for more than 3 days, we may require medical evidence, such as a note from your GP, information about medications, or a medical certificate. You can easily obtain this from your GP, and they should be able to provide a medical history if needed.
For term-time absences, we also ask for documentation such as travel details or a letter from your employer to help us keep track of your child's attendance.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that we have all the information needed to support your child’s education and well-being!
