It has been a pleasure to see the children wearing their school uniforms with pride. Thank you for helping us maintain a smart and unified school community. Article 24 (health and health services) Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must provide good quality health care, clean water, nutritious food, and a clean environment and education on health and well-being so that children can stay healthy.
Please ensure that your child/children wear school colours (with or without logo):
Navy blue sweatshirts/cardigans
Grey skirts/trousers
White polo shirts/shirts
Black school shoes NOT trainers

In addition, your child/children needs to wear school colours as part of their P.E kit (with or without logo).
Navy blue shorts/joggers
Navy blue t-shirts/hoodies

At Vauxhall City Farm they are looking for students who sometimes need that extra push and students who have a curiosity of the world. Their Afterschool Club is aimed to instill a positive attitude towards learning and equip students with skills to help them succeed.
The club is free to all students who either live in Lambeth or attend a Lambeth school, receive pupil premium, and those from low income families.
Designed with a Project Based Learning approach, the group will tackle a real-life challenge incorporating the four Cs of the 21st Century Learning Skills: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
Please see the flyer attached for more details.
Article 31 (leisure, play and culture) Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your generous contribution and support during our fundraising events last year, we have been able to purchase two new interactive whiteboards for our school!
Your contributions have made a significant impact on our learning environment, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support and involvement in our school community. These new whiteboards will enhance our teaching capabilities and provide our pupils with better learning tools.
Thank you once again for your generosity and commitment to Vauxhall Primary School. Together, we are making a difference in our children's education.
StreetTag is back!

The 'WakeUpWednesday' guides empower and equip parents, carers and educators with the confidence and practical skills to be able to have informed and age-appropriate conversations with children about online safety, mental health and well-being, and climate change.
Each week we will post a relevant guide to support our school community's knowledge and understanding of how to keep safe online and new things to be aware of.
This week is an online safety focus on the online gaming platform 'Lego Fortnite'. Please click on the PDF to enlarge it.

Attendance Expectations
It is important for your child to attend school every day, as this is crucial to their success. However, We know that sometimes our pupils cannot come to school because they are really unwell - and that's the right thing to do for them and other students. Medical advice is clear, however children with mild illness will often be well enough to attend - for example if they have a cough, or cold, without a temperature.
What YOU must do:
Try to telephone the school before 8.30am each day of your child’s absence.
Make an application in advance, for any medical appointments and bring in appointment cards/letters.
If you are not sure whether your child is well enough to attend school, send them in anyway as they often perk up on arrival.
Have a backup plan for if your child misses transport, call on a family member, neighbour or friend.
If you and your child are experiencing difficulties with school attendance then talk to us as a first step so we can help!
What WE will do:
Check your child’s attendance every day.
Phone home to discuss your child’s attendance with you.
Invite you into school for attendance meetings if we are concerned.
If we cannot establish a reason for absence, then we may make a welfare home visit.
