Dear year 6,
I hope you will look back on your time here with affection. I hope you have gained some fond memories and that any sadness about leaving is balanced by the excitement of what lies ahead.
You have glittering lives ahead of you, and I hope that your experiences here have prepared you well for the future.
We have witnessed you overcome challenges, and that is why we are so immensely proud of the people you have become.
This next bit is where I give you some parting advice:
Believe in yourselves and your abilities. Stay curious and never stop learning. Be kind to others and true to yourself. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Remember, you have the power to shape your own future.
As you move on to secondary school, remember the values you’ve learned here. Continue to be honest, respectful, kind, calm and supportive. The friendships you have formed, the knowledge you have gained, and the experiences you have shared will be the foundation upon which you build your future.
You are capable of achieving great things. Dream big, work hard, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Every mistake is a lesson, and every lesson is a step towards success. Trust in your abilities, and know that you have a strong support system here cheering you on.
Although you are moving on, you will always be a part of our school community. Congratulations on reaching this milestone, and best of luck in your next adventure!
As we approach the end of another school year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the achievements and experiences we've shared at Vauxhall Primary School. This year has been filled with growth, learning, and resilience, and I am incredibly proud of our students, staff, and the entire school community.
Our students have demonstrated great progress and dedication across all areas of their education. Many students have excelled in their studies, achieving outstanding results in their assessments and projects. Our sports teams, art clubs, and music groups have all enjoyed success, showcasing their talents and representing our school with pride.
As we look forward to the next academic year, we remain committed to providing a high-quality education and a nurturing environment for all our students. We have exciting plans for the upcoming term, including new resources and opportunities for student development.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our parents and carers for your continued support and partnership. Your involvement in your children's education has been invaluable, and we are grateful for your trust and collaboration.
As we close this chapter and prepare for a well-deserved summer break, I wish you all a restful and enjoyable holiday. May this time be filled with joy, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones.
Thank you once again for being a part of the Vauxhall Primary School community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new school year with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

We are gathering as much information, from as many community members as possible, to help us understand local priorities, so that we can create a new centre for Vauxhall that benefits the whole community.
We have another consultation event scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday July 20th, at St. Peter’s Vauxhall SE11 5HY from 10 am to 2 pm. Please come along and share your thoughts!

As part of Reception's topic on 'adventure', the class went on an adventure to Vauxhall Garden Estate Glasshouse Walk Play Area. They explored the natural world around them and discussed what they saw on the way. They enjoyed going on a range of different equipment. The children then treated themselves to a well deserved, healthy snack to celebrate the end of a successful academic year. A very big thank you to all the parents and siblings that supported on the trip.
We are excited to share that our recent election for school captains has concluded successfully! Each class participated in the voting process, and we are thrilled to announce our newly elected School Captain and Deputy School Captain.
Our students demonstrated great enthusiasm and responsibility throughout the election, making thoughtful decisions to select their representatives. We are confident that our new leaders will uphold the values of our school and inspire their peers.
