Student Fellow

Student Fellows serve as peer advisors to a cluster of first-year students and assist them holistically in adjusting to the academic, social, and personal challenges that a new environment can create. They are supervised by House Advisors and advised by House Student Advisors (HSAs). The major role of a Student Fellow as a peer resource is to be readily available and visible within the House. Student Fellows must get to know each of their fellowees on an individual basis to understand their various needs and interests to best support them.

Community Fellow

Community Fellows serve as peer advisors to returning students in the houses and support them holistically with academic, social, and personal challenges by serving as a resource. Community Fellows are house-centered, student employed leadership positions focused on modeling peer-to-peer accountability and community development. They are supervised by House Advisors and supported by House Student Advisors (HSAs). Student Fellows and Community Fellows will work in collaboration to form connections, mediate conflicts, and create a cohesive community between first years and returning students in their areas. The core values of a Community Fellow are community engagement, support, advocacy, and outreach.

All Student Fellow & Community Fellow candidates must attend one (1) information session to be considered for the role. Multiple sessions will be available throughout the spring semester.

Any candidates that submit an application but do not attend an information session will be removed from consideration.

Applications for SF/CF open on Mon, February 2, 2026 and will close at 11:59pm on Sun, February 15, 2026. Please make sure to fill out each section carefully.

OPTIONAL INTERVIEW PREP SESSIONS

This is 100% optional and solely for your benefit to feel more at ease and prepared for your upcoming interview! Chat with current Student Fellows/HSAs to learn more about the job and practice your interviewing. Your attendance will not count in your favor or against you in any way.

Candidates from each house will receive an email from their HA with more details about where each session will be held and what will be offered. You are welcome to attend any session in any house, not just your own!

Interviews

Interviews will take place from Thurs, February 19, 2026 - Mon, March 2, 2026. Interviews will be conducted by House Advisors and current/future HSAs. House Advisors will email all candidates from their houses with information about how to schedule and confirm your interviews.

Each interview will be around 30-40 minutes and in person. There will be time at the end for candidates to ask the HA/HSA questions as well.
