No-Login Tools that Record Individual Results
The following tools can be set up for use in Abre Focus through nicknames or non-Google usernames/passwords. This allows them to still record activity results while forgoing the need for students to use their Google emails to sign in.
Both live and student-paced
No special setting
Students will be asked to enter their full name (actual full name not required) and given the option to use a nickname
Links must be worksheet-specific, not to the whole Wizer.me site
No special setting
Students can use their first name + last initial and teacher-determined password
Site will ask for the password twice the first time it's used and just once all subsequent times
When creating a group, choose 'Add username instead' under 'Who Can Join?'
Teachers can create individual usernames/passwords for students or a generic username/password for all students to use
All topics in this group will now require one of these student UNs/PWs
Alternatively, choose 'Anyone with the Link' for no sign-in at all
Set the form so it isn't collecting emails and isn't restricted to users in HCSDOH's organization
Create a 'name' question
This won't communicate with Google Classroom from Abre Focus in order to automatically go into a gradebook, but it will still collect student answers
Students click a quiz-specific link or enter a code to access the quiz, then type in a nickname
You'll want to make sure their nickname is identifiable (e.g. their first name/last initial)
Students use a class code and choose their name from a roster
Teachers have the option to create student PINs
Students enter their teacher's username, choose their own name from a roster, and (if set up) type in their PIN/PW to access their account
When creating a new class in Edpuzzle, select 'Open' under 'Class Type'
Assign the activity to your 'Open' class
You can use a direct link to the activity or send students to the main EdPuzzle website where they'll enter a code
Students will type in a nickname (e.g. first name + last initial)
Note: the full gradebook report will not be recorded, but individual student progress and overall results will be

No-Login Tools that Don't Record Individual Results
The following tools can be set up for use in Abre Focus and do not require usernames or passwords to access, but will not record any individual student results.
Activities created in Genially can be used without students logging in at all, but results and work won't be recorded
Genially lessons or activities can links to or embeds of other resources that do record information (e.g. Google Forms, Flipgrid, Nearpod)
Teacher-created Thinglink activities themselves do not require log-in or collect individual student information; you can however add polls that will collect anonymous group information
Thinglink lessons or activities can links to or embeds of other resources that do record information (e.g. Google Forms, Flipgrid, Nearpod)
Pear Deck can be used anonymously without the need for signing in, so students can participate in activities, but their responses will not be recorded
No student sign-in method is required to access this site
