To support a Discretionary Learning Grant application, you will need to provide us with a recent copy of one of the following:
A full breakdown of one of your monthly statements dated within 3 months of the start of your course.
Ways of sending/ uploading evidence
You can print your Universal Credit statement to PDF/ Save as PDF. (See top right hand corner of the statement ). Once printed as PDF, you will need to save the document to your device (phone/ laptop/ PC). Once saved, please email/ upload this evidence as an attachment.
If you decide to take a screenshot of the statement, you MUST capture full breakdown (see picture on the right). This may mean you will need to take up to 2-4 screenshots in order to capture all information. Upload pictures to the application. If any of the information is not showing in the pictures sent, your evidence will not be accepted.
A current award letter (all pages) for the current tax year.
A current award letter and a bank statement dated within 3 months of the start of your course to confirm the payment.
A current letter (all pages) dated within 3 months of start of your course. We need to see if the award is Income based or Contribution based.
A current letter (all pages) dated within 3 months of start of your course. We need to see if the award is Income based or Contribution based.
A current letter (all pages) dated within 3 months of start of your course. We need to see if the award is Income based or Contribution based.
3 month’s worth of payslips dated from within 3 months of the start of your course. You will also need to sign a declaration to confirm that your income is below £30,000.
