Marilyn Agler - Administrator

Mrs. Agler came to us by way of Calvary Preschool where she was the administrator before its closing and an assistant teacher at Thomas Edison Preschool. Mrs. Agler brings with her a wealth of knowledge and years of experience. Between her in-class experience and administrative skills, she is always developing ways to improve the preschool experience. Her background as a Special Education teacher adds to the knowledge of working with preschoolers.

Beth Gerow - Teacher

Mrs. Gerow was hired in the Spring of 2020 as a teaching assistant with Mrs. Stewart. In the Fall of 2022, assumed the role of lead teacher in the 3-day Pre-K class. Mrs. Gerow holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood education.

Issa Ickes - Teacher

Mrs. Ickes was hired onto the preschool team in 2019 after previously teaching at another Christian based preschool for 5 years and was a teaching assistant at Thomas Edison Preschool for 3 years . Mrs. Ickes teaches the 3-year-old class and loves to watch them learn and explore.

Julie Stewart - Teacher

Mrs. Stewart was hired onto the preschool team in 2017 after previously teaching at another Christian based preschool for 6 years. Mrs. Stewart's experience and passion for the children's academic, spiritual, and emotional success makes her an asset to our team. She teaches the 3 or 4-day Pre-K class.

Jessica Lippi - Teacher's Assistant

Mrs. Lippi is joining our team after a few years away from education. She brings a wealth of experience to the role as a teacher's assistant. She has worked in preschools and taught Reading and Title I at Devine Mercy Catholic School in Payne, Ohio. She and her husband have three daughters.

Beth Meyer- Teacher's Assistant

Mrs. Meyer joins us as an assistant to our classroom teachers. She also teaches a music class to each class two times per month. She has been active in children's Sunday School here at Van Wert First for several years. She and her husband have 3 children, two at Lincolnview and one here at preschool.

Peyton Place- Teacher's Assistant

Mrs. Place joins us as an assistant to our classroom teachers 3 days per week. She previously worked at Westwood Behavioral. Peyton and her husband welcomed a new baby girl, Phoebe, to the family in August. We are excited to have her join our staff.
