Summer Reading at Your Library is from June 15–August 15, 2025. Track your reading and other activities for a chance to win prizes and join us each week for fun, free programs for all ages!
Step 1: Sign Up (and Pick Out a Book!) here or in your community library
Everyone who signs up by June 30 can pick a book to keep!

July 12-18: Bike, drive, roll or stroll into a library for a special mid-challenge prize
By August 15, read for 40 days and bring in your log for your limited edition 2026 Summer Reading Finisher Pin or Bubbles and your own Winner's Certificate.
Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program
Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program
Program is for any child 1st-6th grade. Each time you complete 2 books, bring your jounral to Barnes and Noble store. You will receive an exclusive Summer Reading sticker and create a recommendation slip for your favorite - your recommendation slip will be displayed in the the store! After completing all 4 matchups on your journal, you will earn a special sticker. Finally you can select a book for FREE from a provided list.
Seize the Bagel
Seize the Bagel
Read 10 books and record them on the a reading log (found at local stores). Turn the completed reading log into one of the 4 Seize the Bagel stores in Vancouver and get a FREE bagel with cream cheese. You can turn in as many completed reading logs as you would like.

If students read 400 minutes and complete a reading log, they can receive a FREE Bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes (902 SE 164th Ave, Suite 100). Stop by your local store for the reading log and more information.
Book It! (Pizza Hut)
Book It! (Pizza Hut)
Parents download the free Book It! app and register your student. THen kids (PreK-6th grade) can set reading goals and earn a free Personal Pan Pizza reward throughout the summer from participating Pizza Hut stores.
