I'm super excited to introduce myself as a Chinook First Grade teacher. I've taught Fourth, 4/5 Bilingual, Second, Kindergarten, and now First grade. Teaching is my passion, and I can't imagine doing anything else. School is really cool!

As a first generation Norwegian-American,  I grew-up in a second language home. I graduated college with an AA, a BA and a teaching credential. I've gone on to complete a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Reading. I hold endorsements in Early Education, Second Language Learners and Reading. 

My husband and I just celebrated our 34th anniversary. We are high school sweethearts. We  have three awesome children and are adding a beautiful daughter-in-law this summer to our family. We love spending time with family, doing home projects, cooking and watching reality tv. I am an identical twin and have an older brother. I love the color kelly green, Chai tea, and creating new things for my students. My family and I are forever busy, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
