Carlos Espina, Ph.D

Dr. Espina is a Partner at Vanna Capital Management in Madrid, advising foreign companies interested in investing in the EU. Dr. Espina worked at the finance research department of the World Bank for several years, conducting econometric research and providing financial and macroeconomic policy advice to numerous countries. In the private sector, Dr. Espina was an advisor to the Head of Strategy and Investment Advisory Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in New York, developing portfolio asset-allocation strategies to advise large institutional US clients. He holds a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Virginia, specializing in macroeconomics, financial econometrics, and computational methods.

Mr. Esteban is a Partner at Vanna Capital Management in Madrid. His field focuses on legal advice in all matters related to construction projects; operations management agreements; contract administration and insurance. He has solid knowledge in all aspects related to the acquisition, financing, leasing and sale of real estate. Gustavo has vast experience representing developers and construction companies. Member of the Board of Directors of institutions in the insurance and construction sectors and he is responsible for the tax and corporate planning of the largest international construction companies operating in Latin America. He obtained his law degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and holds several advanced degrees, Master in Law and Economics from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello; Master in Tax from Universidad Central de Venezuela; including International Tax Law Program from Robert Kennedy College (Switzerland) and Global Advanced Management Program, Georgetown University and ESADE.
