Back in the 1900s, armed with the knowledge gained from Howard Payne University, Andy Adams started his teaching career in Abilene, Texas with a room full of 5th graders. He taught 4th and 5th grade for 11 years with other stops in Nacogdoches and Kilgore. For some reason, he obtained a Master’s degree from Stephen F Austin University and found himself as an assistant principal and then principal working with the stakeholders of Kilgore Intermediate School. His last role with the district was serving as the Instructional Technology Coordinator. Andy now has the privilege of “clicking for a living” as the Digital Learning Coordinator at Region 7 ESC. His purpose is twofold--find tools and resources to allow students to THINK, CREATE and LEARN and help teachers become teaching gurus who use technology, not tech gurus who teach. Most of what he knows comes from Twitter and YouTube!! His mother thinks he is an engaging presenter with relevant ideas to implement in the classroom to impact student achievement.

Lynsey has been involved in education for 18 years and is the Communications Director for Van ISD. And Friends or Seinfeld? When push comes to shove, she's gotta' go with Friends!

Janet is an educational technology consultant specializing in technology integration, BYOD implementations, interactive whiteboard technologies and mobile learning devices. She has over 30 years experience as a classroom teacher and instructional technology coordinator in Texas public schools and has also been an adjunct education professor at a local university. Her passion is assisting educators in learning new strategies for successfully integrating technology into their curriculum. And she's just a lot of fun! Check out her website!

Kelly has been teaching 17 years. Her experience comes from 13 years teaching elementary 1st-5th in Carrollton, and 4 years SpEd in Van. She enjoys engaging students with technology. She finds that technology is one of the best ways to monitor and accommodate students' individual needs.

Berny is currently in her 7th year of teaching. Even though she is still semi-new to the education world, her contributions to the field earned her a spot of Top New Teachers in the 2018 publication of The List by UT-TYler. Even though her passion is teaching Spanish at the secondary level, helping students and educators alike seamlessly integrate technology to their lessons is a close second. Glenn Hervieux is an Instructional Technology Specialist for Van ISD, in Van, TX. He came from N. California where he worked as an educator, teaching multiple grade classrooms for seven years and then as a technology coordinator for several small school districts, including Siskiyou Union HSD, where he helped develop a technology program that included GSuite for Education, blended learning, and a 1:1 Chromebook program. His passion is to see educators engage technology for student success and share their learning.

Rachel is a mother to three sons, techie nerd, curriculum champion, with a heavy splash of public relations coordinator thrown in for good measure. She brings to us her 12 years of experience as an educator and a STRONG mix of TLC, SISQO, Mr. Big Shaggy, Boyz II Men, Paula Abdul, and Koolio.

Brittany is a 2nd year Science teacher and Athletic Trainer at Van High School. Friends is her favorite 90s show, but she was born in 1994 so she obviously didn't watch it in or before kindergarten!

Jammie is a 3rd grade ELAR teacher in her 8th year of teaching in Van. She recently earned her M.A. in Educational Technology Leadership is SPED and ESL certified. Her favorite 90s shows were E.R., Party of Five and Friends.

Amy is a 10 year educator. She has taught High School Biology, 7th Grade Science and even had a stint teaching Pre-K! A life-long learner, she enjoys supporting teachers in her new role as Instructional Technology Specialist for Van ISD. When she's not at school working with teachers or aboard the STEAM Bus, you'll most likely find her cheering on her 4 boys and husband, Coach Moffatt at Vandal sporting events! Erica is a wife, mother, coach, and Anatomy and Physiology teacher at Van High School in her ninth year in education. Her favorite girl band was Spice Girls and boy band was the Backstreet Boys!

Angel is a Resource and Intervention teacher in her 12th year as an educator. Some of my favorite 90's shows include Friends, Fresh Prince, Saved by the Bell, and 90210. She was also crazy about the New kids on the Block.

The S.W.A.T. team is a team of students that provide service with a smile to staff member of the Robert E. Lee campus in Tyler. Students Who Advocate Technology are definitely not "clueless" when it comes to troubleshooting and supporting technology in the classroom. "Whatever" the problem is REL SWAT team tech support is willing to take on the challenge.

Mallory is an 8th grade science teacher at Van Junior High and is in her 5th year of teaching. In the 90's, she was a fan-girl for Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC!

After obtaining a B.A. ('98) and a M.A. ('00) from the University of North Texas, Mrs. Stewart briefly taught at Blinn Community College and Trinity Valley Community College before finding her true home in the public school classroom. She currently teaches 11th grade English for Van High School. Joanna is married to her high school sweetheart and they have 3 very active children. When she is not getting her kids to practices and games, she enjoys traveling with her family, teaching in youth programs at her church, and following her favorite EdTech heroes on Twitter.
