Dear Royal Families,
Welcome to The Royal Connection, your monthly source for campus updates, important reminders, and the latest news from Van Gogh Secondary. Each edition is designed to keep our Royal families informed, engaged, and connected by highlighting upcoming events, sharing important announcements, and celebrating the outstanding learning and achievements taking place across our campus.
At the heart of The Royal Connection is our commitment to strengthening the partnership between our school, our families, and our community. We know that when we communicate openly, support one another, and celebrate our students' successes together, we create the strongest foundation for every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

๐ Welcome Our New School Counselor, Dr. Prado! ๐
We are excited to welcome Dr. Crystal Prado to the Van Gogh Secondary family as our new School Counselor! Dr. Prado brings more than two decades of experience in education and is passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and in planning for their future. She is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with students and families while fostering a supportive, inclusive school community where every Royal feels valued and empowered.
As we begin the new school year, Dr. Prado looks forward to partnering with our students, parents, and staff to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed. Whether assisting with academic planning, social-emotional wellness, or college and career readiness, she is committed to helping students reach their full potential and feel confident throughout their educational journey.ย

If you are picking up siblings at one location, please be patient as all siblings have to be relocated to one place to be picked up.ย
For siblings:ย
๐If the youngest child is in PK3, PK4, Kinder or 1st grade:ย
the older siblings go to the younger grades for pick up with Primary gradesย
๐If the youngest child is in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade:ย
the younger children head to secondary to be picked up in Secondaryย
