Hello My name is Mrs. Ortiz and I am the Dance teacher at Mozart Elementary and Secondary. Very excited to work with the students this year to explore new ways to move to the music.
I am the founder/sponsor/Director of the Mini Knightettes Dance Team since 2018. I am very proud of each team that I had in the past 7 years and each Team has tremendously grown over the years. I have seen great talent along with seeing students grow stronger in dance.

SNEAK PEAK IN OUR DANCE CLASSES!
I believe that anyone can benefit from dance, it is a great way to give the students the opportunity to express themselves through the music. I have seen students get out of their "box" and just enjoy moving around with the music. I love seeing how dance not only helps them to be more active but also helps them to be more confident to speak in front of their class, it helps to get out of their comfort zone.
