A Grading System that Assesses the Entire Learning Process
Instead of the traditional grading system of 80% summative and 20% formative, Belleville New Tech uses these school-wide learning outcomes:

The entire learning process is assessed.
There is no summative or formative work.
Classwork, homework, tests, quizzes, projects, and essays are weighted using these percentages.

New Tech Network Coaching
The New Tech Network Report explains what NTN is, how it works, and the data behind the learning styles. Belleville New Tech is part of the New Tech Network. We are provided a NTN coach who provides professional development for staff, works with our students, and gives feedback on things that are going well and areas for improvement. Jose Garcia is BNT's NTN school coach. This year's focus is on professional collaboration with use of team contracts and agency.
