ARC Reading Bags

Students are enjoying choosing books to take home and read each night. Nightly reading makes a huge difference.
Our class has blue ARC “Book Bags” that go home each night. These blue bags contain leveled books that are targeted towards your student’s reading level.We ask that you use the reading logs to record your child's reading steps that are in the blue folders nightly and return with your child's book bag daily. Each 15 minutes of reading counts as 1 step. Our goal is to have students read 30 minutes at home nightly (2 steps).Please sign and return the parent contract if you haven't already done so.Feel free to contact your child's teacher with any questions.

Practice reciting the alphabet and identify the name and sound of each letter-
