Valued Green are running The Gift Of Giving Community Project from September 2023 to December 2023 in partnership with L&Q, East End Community Foundation and Haggerston & Kingsland Residents Collective.
In response to the cost of living crisis, the projects supported families on lower incomes with necessities, from the start of the academic year on 3 September 2023 to the beginning of the Christmas break on 22 December 2023. Valued Green liaised with local residents to identify beneficiaries.
Community food donations were available during the October half term and during the Christmas break.
Valued Green worked with Hackney Playbus and Hoxton Health for the Christmas event to bring support to the residents of Haggerston Estate.
