5th graders read to 1st grade classrooms.
5th graders read to 1st grade classrooms.
Six GT 5th graders had been chosen to read their picture books on overcoming fear to 1st grade classrooms at Central Canyon Elementary. The students shared their stories on April 27th. The first graders loved hearing their stories as well as their author pages that shared their own fears and how they overcame them.
The students were: Shaelee, Adam D., Lanea, Kiersta, Brynne and Brooklyn.
