Hi! My name is Mrs. Shoemaker, and I am so excited to be working at Vallivue High School. I enjoy helping students find just the right book, information, and/or source they are looking to find. I like when students come and ask me questions and there is never a ‘dumb’ question. I have been enjoying meeting so many of you and think you have an awesome school. I have been so thankful to be a teacher librarian for the past four years. I have also been a first grade teacher for four years. My favorite genre is ‘historical’ fiction, but I love getting recommendations from you and will read what you are reading.
I have a Bachelor's of Science from Eastern Oregon University, Masters at the Art Teaching from Concordia University, and Library Endorsement from Portland State University. This is my twentieth year in education. 04/19/21
