Grading
Elementary P.E. grades are based on the Idaho Content Standards for Physical Education.

Standard 1 - Skilled Movement
Standard 2 - Movement Knowledge
Standard 3 - Health-Enhancing Personal Fitness
Standard 4 - Personal and Social Responsibility
Standard 5 - Valuing a Physically Active Lifestyle
To the left is a detailed document that shows you what each standard looks like. The activities that students participate in during their PE time will meet these standards.
P.E. Schedule
The P.E. Schedule at Birch is on a 4 day rotating schedule for 3rd through 5th grades. Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade is on a 5 day rotating schedule. This scheduling works around the different breaks and holidays that the district has to ensure each class gets the same P.E time as everybody else.
