ABOUT ME

These are the two main men in my life. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Kiley, for nearly 25 years. He owns C & S Cleaning Supply with my brother and his brother. He works hard so that we can play hard. On sunny days, he always seems to make his way to the golf course. Our energetic and curious son, Kason, is 15 years old. He is an eigth grader at Crowley's Ridge Academy. He keeps us busy, and loves golf, basketball, football, and gaming.

This is my 23rd year in education. I have a degree from ASU in Elementary Education and a Secondary Education degree in general science and biology. I worked at Greene County Tech for 9 years as a 1st grade teacher, Reading Recovery specialist, and Literacy Coach. I spent 8 years at Valley View in 3rd grade and am excited to start my seventh year as a 6th grade teacher.

I am very dedicated and passionate about teaching. I am constantly looking for new and exciting ways to make learning fun. I believe we learn by doing and use a hands-on approach to teaching. Outside of the classroom, I love bookstores, coffee shops, flea markets, golfing, creativity, and traveling.
