My name is Nicole Johnson and I have the pleasure of being your student's 11th grade English teacher for 2023/24. This is my 15th year teaching at Valley View and I have both a bachelor's and master's in education with an emphasis in English. I will be teaching American Literature and AP Language and Composition. I love reading, spoken word poetry, and narrative songs. I am also a bit of a foodie and have traveled several hours just to try a new restaurant. I have two children that graduated from VV, and live and work in Jonesboro, I live with my mother-in-law, Brian, my husband, and also a Great Dane... she takes up as much room and time as a person. I will give students their google classroom codes Aug. 17, so they can get logged in, but of course there is no work due  yet.

My email: Nicole.Johnson@valleyviewschools.net (My prep period is around 10:30, so if you email me in the afternoon, please wait until the next morning for me to answer. I will be as prompt as I can be.)
