My name is Meagan Rice and I am one of the 7th - 9th grade art teachers here at Valley View Junior High. Along with teaching art I am also an assistant coach for girls basketball and softball. I am a Valley View alumni and am excited to be starting my 15th year of teaching!

I graduated from Arkansas State University in May, 2011 with a BFA in Art Education. I am a practicing artist and am so blessed to able to teach art as a career. I love being able to help others learn and grow in their artistic abilities. Seeing children, as well as adults, become more confident in their abilities is so rewarding!
