Hi! My name is Candice James and I am so EXCITED to be part of this wonderful school family!  More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your child's teacher!  It's going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures.  I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us.  I am really excited to get to know your child, but first I am going to tell you a little about me.

I am married to Evan James.  We have two beautiful daughters.  My oldest daughter is Gracey and she will be freshman at A-State.  My youngest daughter is Ella and she will be entering the tenth grade.  I absolutely LOVE spending time with my family!

I am a Valley View alumni!  Blue and gold definitely runs through my veins!  GO BLAZERS! I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Arkansas State University.  I've taught Kindergarten (5 years), 1st grade (4 years), 2nd grade (1 year), and 3rd grade (1 year.) This will be my fourth year in Pre-K, and I am THRILLED!  Being a teacher is such a blessing!  I am so excited to be your child's teacher!  This is going to be a FANTASTIC year! :)
